Paragliding
Paragliding is a magical experience full of adrenaline and emotions that you must try at least once in your life, and Sardinia is the ideal destination for this adrenaline sport. In the northwest of Sardinia, near the city of Alghero, which offers a unique atmosphere of an ancient seaside Catalan town, you can fly over the Capo Caccia area, overlooking the limestone massif connected to the mainland by a high isthmus. Its magnificence is given due to the massive rock walls that seem to fall into the sea and create a beautiful natural scenery. In the Castelsardo area, you will try a unique experience of its kind, with a start in the mountains and a landing at the sea. On the west coast, in the province of Oristano, you will enjoy a dynamic flight over the sea with a beautiful view of the village of Bosa, one of the most picturesque villages in Italy, dominated by a Mediterranean castle with colorful houses. On the other side in Cala Gonone, in the east of the island, you can enjoy a view of the magnificent eastern coast and the beauty of the National Natural Park of Gennargentu. Paragliding is possible all year round, but the best time for this spectacular experience is from March to the beginning of November. If the weather conditions permit, you can also fly over the sea and enjoy the wonderful panoramas. If you are not a professional, you will fly with a certified pilot with many years of experience who can put you at ease and make you enjoy the adventure to the fullest. If more than one person is participating in the take-off, it is possible to choose the flight mode you prefer: single or simultaneous. In simultaneous flight, up to 3 people can fly at the same time, with 3 paragliders and different pilots. This type of flight will allow you to share emotions with friends or your significant other. The activity is suitable for everyone over the age of 7 and no specific skills are required, just weigh less than 100 Kg. Minors under the age of 18 must present written parental consent.
