Sa Cursa de Sa Loriga

The event begins at 2:00 PM with the gathering of knights at Piazza San Michele for a blessing and the selection of the race leader. The festivities kick off with a procession accompanied by trumpeters and drummers from “Sa Sartiglia” in Oristano and the folk group Pro Loco from San Vero Milis. The parade winds through the streets towards Su Padru, where the equestrian event will take place. At 3:00 PM, the official start of the race begins, and spectators can watch the competing pairs until 7:30 PM, when the event concludes at Piazza San Michele.
