La Befana

He flies on a broom, gets into the house through the chimney. He puts sweets and fruit in the stockings of good children, and coal of bad children. Legend has it that Befana was looking for Bethlehem when Jesus was born, but because she didn’t find him, she is still looking for him. Her most famous appearance is a black hat, red dress and shoes, and a long black cloak.
