San Marco Fair

The San Marco Fair takes place annually from April 24th to 27th, with the highlight being the morning of April 25th. During this time, there is an exhibition of zootechnical tools and equipment, a showcase of farm animals, the best horses, as well as agricultural and food crafts typical of Sardinia. The fair attracts around 12,000 visitors each year who come to explore over 200 exhibitors and approximately 50 businesses in the livestock industry.
A recent addition to the fair is a new section dedicated to “domestic animals,” featuring rabbits of various breeds, farm and show chickens, and small household pets. This expansion adds variety to the fair, making it more inclusive of different aspects of animal husbandry and fostering a broader interest among attendees.
